Biography
As the Corn Product Manager, Henschen works to provide customers with the best corn hybrids of Stine Seed. He screens corn samples to recommend corn hybrids, coordinates Stine’s strip testing program, and acts as the liaison between seed trade and Stine Seed marketing.
In the seed business since the 1970s, Henschen was an executive member of Seedex when Stine purchased the company in 1990. Prior to that, he taught vocational agriculture. In addition, he was also a Captain in the United States Army.
Henschen has expanded his interest in agriculture through organizations and awards. He is a past recipient of the Indiana Crops and Soils Merit Award, served as a past president of the Indiana Crop Improvement board, and is the past Soybean Division Chairman of the American Seed Trade Association.
Henschen’s education includes a B.S. in Agronomy and Agriculture Education from Purdue University.
