Cob Color
This is the color of the corn cob of the plant. The most common colors are pink, red, and white. Cob color is dictated by genetics and is not a significant indicator of product performance.
R = Red, P = Pink, W = White
Cold Emergence
This test is done in seed laboratories to examine the vigor of different hybrids under cold field conditions. The higher the score, the better the ability of the hybrid to bring its coleoptile and first leaf above the soil surface under lower than ideal soil temperatures.
Corn-On-Corn
Corn that is planted following corn has certain needs from a plant health standpoint. The Yes (Y=yes) and no (N=no) recommendations are primarily derived from the following plant scores for each hybrid: emergence, leaf blights, gray leaf spot and anthracnose disease package.
Y = Yes, N = No
