Corn Technical Agronomist
Joined Stine Seed Company 2021
In 2021, Iowa native and third-generation farmer Tom Larson joined the Stine team. As a corn technical agronomist, Tom serves as an agronomic advisor for Stine grower customers, dealers and sales team members in our northern and eastern territories. He brings more than 30 years of farming, agronomy and agri-business experience to his role, which will serve him well as he travels throughout his territories to train our sales team members on the latest innovations, research and product information from Stine.
Tom was born and raised on a third-generation family farm near Forest City. Actively involved in FFA throughout his youth, Tom transitioned his passion for agriculture into an Ag Business degree from Iowa State University. Following college, Tom managed a research farm for a large ag corporation for 12 years before diving into seed sales. He spent the next two decades working as a district sales manager for a few regional seed companies.
In his free time, Tom enjoys spending time with his wife, Tammy, and two daughters, Amanda and Ally. When he’s not busy traveling to Iowa State football games and visiting his children, he and his wife stay active with the local Forest City FFA Alumni Chapter.
