Joined Stine Seed Company 2026

Brett Gordon joined Stine Seed Company in January 2026 as a technical agronomist serving Regions 9 and 14. He brings a strong background in soil science and field-based agronomy, along with hands-on experience working directly with growers.

Raised on his family’s cattle farm in northeast Arkansas, Brett developed an early interest in agriculture. He earned a bachelor’s degree in environmental, soil and water science and a master’s degree in soil fertility and agronomy from the University of Arkansas.

Before joining Stine, Brett spent two years in the vegetable industry managing green bean production for canning operations on the East Coast. He also served as a county agent with the Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service for 10 years, assisting producers in improving crop performance and management practices. Most recently, he held a field agronomy role supporting seed and crop protection teams.

At Stine, Brett works with growers and sales representatives to provide agronomic guidance throughout the season, including seed placement recommendations, field visits and plot support.

Outside of work, Brett enjoys woodworking and spending time with his family. He and his wife, Meredith, have two children, Naomi and John River.
