Derek Dreier

Derek Dreier joined Stine^® Seed Company as a sales representative in September 2016 and now serves as a field agronomist for Regions 24, 12 and 1. While he calls Sparta, Wisconsin, home, he covers a vast territory, spanning Wisconsin and parts of Illinois, Minnesota and Iowa, where he walks fields and evaluates Stine's new and experimental product plots. Derek enjoys helping customers choose the right products for their acres and address agronomic challenges that come up throughout the season. And with Stine introducing many new products each year, he looks forward to working with growers to find where each one fits best.

Derek has an extensive background in agriculture. He grew up in Norwalk, Wisconsin, on a dairy farm his parents still run today. After Derek completed his education and tackled an internship in southeast Minnesota, he started his career in agronomy sales at a co-op in south-central Wisconsin. He had always enjoyed the seed side of agriculture, so when a sales position opened at Stine close to where he grew up, he applied. He has been with Stine ever since.

Derek earned a degree in agribusiness and science technology with an agronomy emphasis from Western Technical College. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling and following the Green Bay Packers every fall. He and his wife, Lanie, have three children, Haven, Sawyer and Kayson.
