Joined Stine Seed Company 2025

Susan Hart joined the Stine agronomy team as a field agronomist in October 2025. From Parkers Prairie, Minnesota, she assists Stine’s sales team and growers in western Minnesota, North Dakota and northern South Dakota. In her role, she focuses on research, plot analysis, sales support and agronomic troubleshooting throughout the growing season.

Growing up on her family farm, Susan spent her earliest years checking crops alongside her father before they transitioned to livestock. She was active in 4-H and later in FFA, serving on her chapter’s leadership team as treasurer and president. In college, Susan participated in the North Dakota Farm Bureau, representing the state at the collegiate discussion meet to explore farm policy and its impact on growers. Before landing at Stine, she spent four seasons in retail agriculture, helping local farmers make informed agronomic decisions.

Susan earned a bachelor’s degree in crop and weed science with an emphasis in agronomy from North Dakota State University. She is also pursuing her Certified Crop Adviser certification with the American Society of Agronomy and additional credentials as a precision ag specialist and technical service provider with the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

Outside of work, Susan enjoys paddleboarding, livestock showing, gardening, canning, baking, hunting, running, weightlifting and sewing. She also owns a small hobby farm where she raises meat show goats.
