Choose Stine for Your Next Career Move

April 2019

I’ve worked at Stine for more than 18 years. Before I started my career with Stine, I got to know their products and the way they do business. The quality of their corn and soybean seed, their industry-leading breeding program and their care for farmers were all reasons that encouraged me to take my first post on their team as a sales representative. When I first joined Stine in 2001, I oversaw six counties and spent much of my days talking to farmers and dealers, promoting Stine and showing how great our systems work because of the yield and the care that the company has for its customers.

Stine’s a great company to work with; it’s family owned, so you don’t have a lot of layers that are making decisions. It’s nice that when you want to make a change, you talk to the right people and things can happen. It’s great to see the innovation that Stine has brought to the forefront of agriculture — the new traits, the advancement of high-population corn. I truly enjoy and take pride in going to work every day, knowing that I’m bringing something new to the table that really no one else in the industry is doing.

Now, as Stine’s director of agronomy, I’m excited to see the growth our company is experiencing and the direction we’re heading. With that growth, we’re also looking for more employees and independent sales representatives to help promote our brand and position Stine and our growers for success in the years to come. Whether you’re an independent sales representative, seed corn detasseler or in our research department, no day is ever wasted when you’re working collaboratively to deliver growers the highest-yielding products to each and every acre. If my testimonial isn’t evidence enough that Stine is an excellent company to grow professionally with, apply for one of our open positions to find out for yourself.
