It’s not too often an industry celebrity stops by the Stine® Seed Farm, but when it happens, we make it worth their visit. In early August, a then-8-year-old ag influencer Jackson from Just a Jackson Thing swung by our headquarters in Adel, Iowa, for a tour of the farm and our custom planting and harvesting equipment.
In addition to the farm tour, Jackson sat down with David Thompson, Stine Seedcast host and Stine national marketing and sales director, for a podcast interview. You can view the video of the full episode below.
“This was one of the most entertaining and memorable podcast interviews we’ve had on the show,” says Thompson. “We always enjoy our conversations with our guests, but to witness someone that’s only 9 years old — 8 at the time of our interview — share so much knowledge of the industry at such a young age, it’s something I’ll never forget.”
We were also fortunate to capture some moments with Jackson and Myron, as well as Stine Seed Farm Manager Steve Luther, on camera as they showed Jackson around the corn and soybean nurseries, field plots and Adel office.
“After spending time with Jackson and all the young individuals we’ve met from organizations like FFA and 4-H through the years, I’m hopeful for what the future holds for farming and the ag industry," says Myron Stine, company president.
