At Stine, we have a lot to be thankful for. Outstanding employees and sales representatives, supportive families and good friends and, of course, our loyal customers who keep our operations running each year. Thank you for being a part of the Stine family. We wish everyone a safe and happy Thanksgiving!
In honor of the holiday, we asked our regional sales agronomists to share with us what they’re most thankful for this year. Here’s what they had to say.
John Furlong (Region 7): Family, friends and God are my blessings as I look forward to Thanksgiving. May their love and support be with me in the future.
Scott Wagner (Region 15): I have a lot to be thankful for. I have an amazing and healthy family who is always there for me. I am very thankful to work for Stine Seed Company, which has given me the privilege of working with some of the best sales reps in the industry. I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends.
Tony Lenz (Region 3): I’m blessed with three great, healthy kids and a supportive wife of nearly 20 years.
Bill Kessinger (Region 16): I am thankful for a very close relationship with my family, and I work with many farmers who also have tight family relationships. The strong family bond that continues to surround agriculture is what I’m thankful for.
Justin Oden (Region 1): After some immediate family health issues, I’m thankful everyone is now doing much better and we all will get to spend the holidays together.
Todd Schomburg (Region 4): I am very thankful for my family and friends. I am thankful for living in a country that gives us the freedom to be who we want to be and travel where we want to go. I am very thankful to be a part of Stine Seed, as well as all the great people I get to work with every day.
Jason Green (Region 18): I am thankful that God has given me a healthy and loving family and that he allows me to work every day in the agriculture industry.
Dustin Ellis (Region 6): I am most thankful that I live in a country where I can get up each and every day and enjoy all the freedoms of being an American. I am also very thankful for my family, the Stine sales reps that I work with each day and my position with Stine. It is truly a great world that we live in.
Doug Score (Region 17): First of all, I’m thankful for my entire family, but especially my wife and kids who fill my life with happiness daily. Second, I’m blessed to be born in the greatest country in the world, a country with endless opportunities. Additionally, I enjoy working with various personalities as a Stine regional sales agronomist. Altogether, I feel we make an impact to move agriculture forward with innovative solutions to yield barriers.
Darin Petty (Region 20): I am thankful for my family, friends, God and the opportunity to be a part of Stine.
Katie Lorenz (Region 2): I am thankful for the wonderful people I get to work with every day at Stine. I’m fortunate to get to spend my day smiling with the people I work with and spend my evenings with the little people that make my heart full.
Mike Eckels (Region 8): I’m thankful for my wife and the three kids she has given me, the opportunity to work for a great seed company and the sales reps that I have the opportunity to work with. And, of course, the new grandbaby that my wife and I are waiting to spoil!
Luke Crawford (Region 12): I'm thankful for the opportunity to work with an awesome group of guys covering "God's country" in west central Illinois.
Aaron Stockton (Region 9): As I reflect on the past year, there are many things to be thankful for. I am first and foremost thankful for the countless blessings the Lord has showered upon me and my family. I am thankful for my wife and children and the opportunity to work for a company whose sole purpose is to help farmers move their operations forward. Whether it be row spacing or trait packages on corn hybrids, or herbicide and agronomic specifics on soybeans, being able to go to the American farmer with options and allow them to decide what is best for their farm is a true pleasure. Happy Thanksgiving!
