Women in agriculture: Celebrating leadership, resilience and community
March 2025Women in agriculture serve in many roles — farmer, business owner, scientist, mentor and mother — and their contributions are essential to shaping the future of our industry.
Stine® Seed Company is proud to share that March 27, 2025, will be proclaimed as Women in Agriculture Day in Iowa. This annual celebration honors the more than 50,000 women who tirelessly grow, lead and inspire Iowa’s ag industry and sets the stage for continued progress for future generations. For the sixth year in a row, Stine has helped secure this important proclamation.

To celebrate the day, Stine is hosting the annual Iowa Women in Agriculture Day Reception March 27 at the Stine Barn in West Des Moines. This event will bring together members of the agricultural community to honor and network with women leading the way in ag.
“Women in agriculture are the backbone of innovation and growth in our industry,” says Clinton. “This initiative isn’t just about celebrating women in agriculture today; it’s about paving the way for tomorrow. Women are at the forefront of advancing agricultural practices, nurturing leadership and fostering community, and we’re thrilled to spotlight their achievements.”
This year’s event will feature guest speakers, including Jessica Laux, farm wife and mom to Just a Jackson Thing, one of the industry’s most well-known young ag influencers.
Honoring the women who make a difference
Stine encourages the public in Iowa and beyond to be part of the celebration by sharing their own story on social media using the hashtag #TogetHER4Ag. Plus, tune in to this special Women in Ag episode of the “Stine Seedcast” podcast, featuring Pink Spears Production’s and Market-to-Market’s Colleen Krantz, where we highlight her voice in agriculture and lifelong passion of sharing the stories of the industry.
