Viptera^™

Viptera™ is the first vegetative insecticidal protein (VIP) trait in corn, helping protect crops from above-ground pests such as corn earworm, armyworm and cutworm. It is also the only corn trait on the market that effectively controls western bean cutworm. Unlike traditional crystal (cry) proteins, VIP targets a distinct receptor site in the pest’s midgut, delivering a high-dose kill for exceptional control.
