Grower Kenny Marr of Riceville, Iowa, can now keep his tools organized, thanks to Stine Seed Company’s Field Potential contest, hosted at trade shows throughout the Midwest early last fall through this spring. As the top winner, Marr got to choose from a Weber® grill or Kobalt® tool chest. Kenny chose to take home the tool chest as his grand prize and says he plans to pay the pleasant surprise forward.
“When they told me I won, I was just floored,” said Kenny. “I never win things. I was so happy when I got the phone call. I’m going to pass on my old tool box to someone who needs one.”
Trade show attendees scratched a game ticket for a chance to win a Stine Genuity® Roundup Ready 2 Yield® hat, and could then enter a second chance drawing online to win the grand prize. This was the first year Stine implemented a virtual trade show with a chance to win a second prize, which was a $100 gift card to the winner’s choice of The Home Depot® or Cabelas®.
