Stine® corn is making waves across the U.S. for season-long performance. High-yield results continue to come in as harvest progresses. Our sales reps have seen an uptick in questions about our 2025 lineup, especially many of our traited options, including Stine brand VTDoublePRO™ corn.
Performance on our VTDoublePRO corn has been as expected in our Product Development Plots. Emergence, yield and standability have been outstanding. Additionally, our Agrisure® and Viptera® products are performing extremely well against above-ground insects.
“There is an increase in above ground pests like corn borers, earworms and armyworms across the corn-growing states in the U.S.,” says Brian Hartman, Stine national corn product manager. “Combined with Stine’s high-performing germplasm, our traited corn has proven very effective in controlling these yield-robbing pests.”
We’re also fortunate to have a large amount of Agrisure-traited material in our lineup this year, especially in the 89–98-day relative maturity range. No matter the insect pressure growers are experiencing, we have plenty of options for them for next planting season.
Some of the high-yielding VTDoublePRO and Agrisure-traited corn lines in our 2025 lineup include but are not limited to:
Stine 9104-20 (VTDoublePRO): This new 79–81-day line is broadly adaptive across yield environments in this maturity zone and boasts two modes of action against above-ground pests, providing serious protection from potential crop damage. It performs east to west, is agronomically strong and delivers top-end yield potential.
Stine 9215-20 (Agrisure Above and LibertyLink®): This is a new high-yielding line with excellent agronomics and strong season-long performance. It’s an 88–90-day maturity line with above-ground insect protection, excellent roots and stalks, and a good plant type with solid silage values. We have a good stock of 9215-20 available for 2025.
Stine 9322-10 (Agrisure 3010): Stine 9322-10 brand corn is new to our lineup in 2025 but has proven performance in our yield trials. It is broadly adaptive for all yield environments but performs best at higher planting populations. It is a 93–95-day maturity line that we have a good amount of for next planting season.
Stine 9445-20 (Agrisure Above and LibertyLink): Another new option in our lineup, this 97–99-day maturity line features above-ground insect control and good stress tolerance. A widely adapted Artesian® line with top-end yield and fast dry down, it also boasts a strong foliar disease package and high test weight. It’s a great option for silage acres and one we have plenty of stock of for those interested.
Stine 9754-20 (VTDoublePRO and DroughtGard®): The new Stine 9754-20 brand corn is one of our widely adapted DroughtGard lines that handles drought stress more efficiently. This 112–114-day maturity line has demonstrated top-end yield potential with very good test weight and two modes of action against above-ground pests. It is agronomically strong and performs best on higher management acres where it can reach its full potential.
