Now Hiring Seasonal, Full-Time Employees and Sales Team Members

Growing season is underway on the Stine Seed Farm, which means we’re looking for seasonal summer workers. Right now, we’re hiring for seasonal corn nursery workers for our corn nursery in Adel, Iowa. Soon, we’ll hire for corn detasselers. These are great opportunities for individuals who want to spend their summer in the sun with competitive pay.

We’re also looking for full-time regional sales agronomists (RSAs) and independent sales representatives (ISRs). As we expand our footprint throughout the United States, we need individuals to represent the Stine brand. We’re seeking brand ambassadors who have a passion for agriculture and the desire to grow both professionally and financially with the industry’s most respected corn and soybean company.

Seasonal Corn Nursery Workers (Adel, Iowa)
Stine is looking for individuals to perform seasonal field work at our Adel, Iowa, facility. Applicants must be at least 14 years of age or older by July 1. Job duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Pollinating corn plants by hand to help develop new corn inbred lines
  • Bagging corn tassels and shoots to control where pollen goes from each corn plant
  • Taking leaf samples for our labs to perform additional testing 

Seasonal corn nursery workers receive competitive pay with opportunities for bonus incentives. The position will begin around July 4 and last approximately four to six weeks. Learn more about or apply for the position here

Regional Sales Agronomists (National)
As we expand our reach across the country, we’re looking for regional sales agronomists to serve as the primary coordinator of sales agronomy information within an assigned region. These individuals will manage and support our network of ISRs, providing day-to-day sales support through regular communication and visits with their team. Other duties include:

  • Assisting ISRs in the development and management of key prospects
  • Evaluating ISRs on sales performance, providing recommendations for improvement
  • Representing Stine at career fairs and other recruiting functions
  • Evaluating territory and making changes where needed
  • Managing and allocating regional programs and marketing budgets
  • Organizing and leading regional meetings

Independent Sales Representatives (National)
ISRs serve as the designated Stine brand ambassador within an assigned territory and represent our brand promise — STINE HAS YIELD. Stine ISRs are at an advantage above working for other seed companies, as they have access to the highest-yielding corn and soybean products backed by the industry’s best breeding programs plus outstanding work flexibility and earning potential. Position responsibilities include:

  • Managing existing dealer accounts and recruiting new dealerships
  • Developing and enhancing direct relationships with growers and potential customers
  • Working in conjunction with a Stine RSA to provide a high level of sales support within an assigned territory
